NIB: Quick real-time update

Hello!

We have just returned to Kathmandu from Lukla where we had 5 fantastic days of trekking. I've been blogging almost consistently, without wifi, and I'll be posting over the next few days (so that I can add pictures).

I wanted to update because, as you may have heard, there is a Maoist demonstration and Kathmandu is essentially shut down (shops closed, no transportation allowed, supplies not coming in). Not to worry, we are all perfectly happy & healthy & being well taken care of. It is definitely a sight outside though: roads closed, people flooding the streets, etc. Pictures to come!
